The letter never written
The things never said,
The tears never cried
Are running through my head.
So many times I wanted,
Simply ached to say
"I love you and I miss you
I needed you today."
There were times that I desired
The strength to reach to you
To be the first to bridge the gap
Separating me from you.
But something always stopped me,
A fear, a doubt, a sigh
Deep down I knew it was inevitable
That you would say goodbye.
